HP Officejet Pro 8600 Product Improvement Study is the voluntary study to help improve the quality, reliability, and performance of HP printers. This software is automatically installed with the HP printer but can be removed without affecting the printer performance. It is an optional program. After installation it will popup a message up to 3 times a day asking the user to participate "join our HP Product Improvement Study to help improve the quality, reliability, and performance of HP printers". If the user declines, the software will not uninstall, it will just turn off the popup reminder.
