What is PowerDVD DX?
This program is a rebranded version from Cyberlink for Dell PCs. PowerDVD is a media player for Microsoft Window that viewing of DVD. TrueTheater 3D uses a GPU-accelerated video converter to turn regular 2D movies into 3D. It also includes support for native 3D photos and movies, including Blu-ray 3D. PowerDVD plays a wide range of video formats, including mkv, flv, wtv, rm, rmvb, 3gp and 3g2. Both rm and rmvb formats require the installation of RealPlayer. Support for subtitle formats include smi, ass, ssa, psb, srt and sub. Live Comments lets PowerDVD users post opinions and comments to Facebook, Twitter and MoovieLive while a movie is playing.
Overview
During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named powerdvd.exe. The setup package generally installs about 23 files and is usually about 27.69 MB (29,030,600 bytes). The installed file WebUpdate.dll is the auto-update component of the program which is designed to check for software updates and notify and apply them when new versions are discovered.

How do I remove PowerDVD DX?
You can uninstall PowerDVD DX from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
