It has become an annoying feature that I will not use.

DDP|A will not allow you to install full disk encryption over it. If you use an ePO like McAfee EEPC you will need to remove this before installation is successful

For whatever reason Dell Data Protection is breaking windows installer. Here is a quick and dirty way to remove the Windows installer error if you can't get the program to uninstall cleanly.
