For those installing the "Auto screen rotation blocker" app from the Acer, note it say "blocker." I made this mistake. The screen wouldn't rotate unless I opened the Device Manager and quickly rotated it after closing Device Manager - but not always. I solved it by going to the control panel, clicking on programs, uninstalling "Auto screen rotation blocker," then rebooting.
