Microsoft recommends Windows Easy Transfer to move files and settings between Windows PCs. I have installed a version to create a file of programs and settings for my Vista. It shows in All Programs » Accessories » System Tools. As it is an update for Vista, to uninstall it, go to Control Panel » Systems and Maintenance » View installed updates / Uninstall an update and right click KB928635 and click Uninstall. A good video and links are at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows7/help/videos/transferring-files-and-settings-from-another-pc Review your update history says More information for KB928635 is at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=155371 but I can’t find any!
