Realtek High Definition Audio Driver
What is Realtek High Definition Audio Driver?
Realtek's High Definition Audio Driver provide high quality DTS, Dolby, Surround Sound to your PC via the audio card. The software comes with a number of features and functionality such as a six channel Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) that fully supports the 16/20/24-bit Pulse Code Modulation format for 5.1 channel audio. It supports legacy analog input to analog output mixer as well as 44.1k/48k/96kHz Sony/Philips Digital Interconnect Format output through which you can connect the output of a DVD player to an external receiver.
To use a Realtek embedded or OEM version sound card, the operating system typically requires a specific device driver, a low-level program that handles the data connections between the physical hardware and the operating system. Realtek High Definition Audio Driver is typically required for your audio device to function.
