What is Optimizer Pro?
Optimizer Pro by PC Utilities Pro is a program that is promoted as a system optimization tool. Some versions of this program may display deceptive or fraudulent claims about files, registry cleaning, etc. Registry cleaners in general try to automate the process of looking for invalid entries, missing file references or broken links within the registry and resolving or removing them.
This program is bundled with various modified monetization installers and 3rd party freeware programs. "Offer your users a free PC scan to help them find registry errors, junk files, incorrect system & security settings, plus much more."
It is a brand run by Adsology, a company that facilitates distribution of its brands of 'PC optimization' utilities by through bundled installations. Brands include Optimizer Pro, PC Repair, Driver Pro, Soft Reports and many others. The software components are developed by Subeo Tech, Inc.
