What is Microsoft Windows Performance Toolkit?
The new Windows Performance Analysis Toolkit (WPT), included with the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK), makes performance issues easier to diagnose. Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA) is a powerful tool used to review aspects of performance on Windows. WPA opens event trace log files and displays performance data in graphs and tables so that you can easily see where to investigate potential issues.

How do I remove Microsoft Windows Performance Toolkit?
You can uninstall Microsoft Windows Performance Toolkit from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Microsoft Windows Performance Toolkit, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Microsoft Windows Performance Toolkit.
