What is Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Policies?
ADO applications can use the SQLOLEDB OLE DB provider that is included with Windows if they do not require any of the features of SQL Server 2005 or later. ADO applications can use the version of SQL Server Native Client included in SQL Server 2005. ADO applications can also use SQL Server Native Client 11.0 (included in SQL Server 2012), but if they do so they must specify DataTypeCompatibility=80 in the connection strings. Only features from SQL Server 2005 are available when DataTypeCompatibility=80 is present in the connection strings.

How do I remove Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Policies?
You can uninstall Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Policies from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
