What is Intel Trusted Platform Module?
Intel Trusted Platform Module is part of the IntelĀ® Management Engine which is installed with the Small Business/Security/Management Technology platform and is a requirement for the motherboard so it can accomplish with different tasks and processes at a hardware/software level. Trusted Network Connect or TNC is an open architecture for Network Access Control which is designed to improve computer security. Disabling this feature might cause erratic behavior.

How do I remove Intel Trusted Platform Module?
You can uninstall Intel Trusted Platform Module from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Intel® Trusted Platform Module, click it, and then do one of the following:

- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Intel Trusted Platform Module.
