Remove SpeedUpMyComputer by SmartTweak Software

This is a registry cleaner the is typically bundled with download manager such as Somoto's BetterInstaller. Upon installation it will do a scan of the user's PC and report a number of errors and will require the user to register the software for a fee in order to 'clean' these errors. In many cases the errors are erroneous.

The most used version is 38.1, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. The main program executable is SpeedUpMyComputer.exe. It also adds an icon to the Windows notifications area in order to provide access to the program. A vast majority of those who have this installed end up removing it just after a couple weeks. The software installer includes 3 files and is usually about 3.39 MB (3,555,696 bytes).
