Safari Packages
from installCore
What is Safari Packages?
This program is not created or distributed by Apple. Safari Packages uses the InstallCore Click run software which is an installer which bundles legitimate applications with offers for additional third party applications that may be unwanted by the user. Such third party applications are typically installed onto users’ computers by default, but may include an option to ‘opt-out’ during or after the installation process. Typical bundled installs include DealPly as well as other potentially unwanted programs. This program is not created or distributed by Adobe.
By using somewhat unethical marketing tactics on various ad networks, the software is distributed by companies such as ClickRunSoftware through the website bestcodecpackapp.com.
The 'Packages' program is simply a wrapper/manager around the bundled software it installed during setup. By running the uninstaller option, the program will show the various bundled programs such as DealPly and allow the user to remove it. Besides this, the software servers no other purpose. To fully remove the 'Packages' program you must select the checkbox at the bottom of the screen to (Add/Remove from Windows).
