WinRAR Packages
from installCore
What is WinRAR Packages?
WinRAR Packages is a software bundle distributed through the InstallCore download manager. These packages may be ad-supported that include the original program as well as the included advertiser software which in some cases may include adware. This particular software is just an uninstaller that is designed to remove the bundled programs.
Form the publisher - "The downloader manages the entire download process of your software from start to finish. If any offers are accepted, the download manager will include a bundle uninstaller (named "[downloadname] Packages") that will help uninstall all the offers that were included with the download as a group instead of individually. We're able to offer free software because we are advertiser supported. When you download software, it gives our advertisers a chance to speak to you."
About (from installCore)
Some of the advertisements you see in the installer are delivered by third parties who collect information through cookies, ip address, web beacons, and other technologies about your online activities, in order to understand your interests and deliver advertisements that are tailored to your interests.
