What is PC Fix Speed?

PC Fix Speed (PCRx.com, LLC) is an application meant to improve the performance (this is just a junkware remover and registry cleaner) of your PC, however it is typically installed with a bundle application as well as installs a number of additional programs from PCRx.com such as LinkToMyPC, PCRx Optimizer, PC Power Speed and PC Fix Speed, 24x7 Help and Spyware Terminator.

PC Fix Speed is bundled with various installers such as the Optimum Installer from Adknowledge. The software will install and automatically run a scan warning the users that it has detected dozens of potentially errors (usually benign registry issues that have no effect on performance) and requires a paid subscription in order to fix most the problems.

How do I remove PC Fix Speed?

You can uninstall PC Fix Speed from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.

There are certainly better registry cleaners that this program, faster, smaller footprint and more accurate. The reality is that unless one is installing and deleting a LOT of programs there's rarely the need for a registry cleaner to be constantly running in the background. Windows 7 and 8 are stuffed full of a lot of things MS put into them "by design" that slow devices and machines down and it's name is Aero. (AKA useless eye candy.)

My computer has been getting slower and slower with that PCfix speed hanging around trying to get me to buy it.. The longer it's here, the slower my computer is becoming. Is the PC fixspeed the problem? And how did it get into my computer?
