What is Norton 360 Premier Edition?
Norton 360, developed by Symantec, is marketed as an "all-in-one" computer security suite. The package includes an antivirus, a personal firewall, a phishing protection program and a backup program. What distinguishes this suite from Norton Internet Security is the inclusion of file backup and PC maintenance capabilities. The Premier Edition has all the functions of the standard edition, with the difference that it comes with 25 GB of online storage versus 2 GB which is included with the standard edition.

Overview
The most used version is 20.4.0.40, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The main program executable is NTR2012.exe. The software installer includes 133 files and is usually about 141.33 MB (148,190,743 bytes).

How do I remove Norton 360 Premier Edition?
You can uninstall Norton 360 Premier Edition from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
