Overview

Miro is a program developed by Participatory Culture Foundation. The most used version is 6.0, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is miro.exe. The software installer includes 93 files and is usually about 86.64 MB (90,847,298 bytes). The program uses the GLib GNOME library. In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 49% of users of Miro come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and United Kingdom.
Miro has been seen bundling various 3rd party software during the installation process. Make sure to check for and remove unused programs.

How do I remove Miro?

You can uninstall Miro from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
