We built the Applian FLV Player as a free, fast, lightweight way to watch these videos on your PC. And we added a few goodies like full screen and slow motion playback as well.
Overview
FLV Player 2.0 build 25 is a program developed by Martijn de Visser. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is flvplayer.exe. The software installer includes 11 files and is usually about 1.94 MB (2,031,927 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows XP. While about 32% of users of FLV Player build 25 come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and United Kingdom.
