Glary Utilities 2.56.0.1822
What is Glary Utilities?
Glary Utilities is a program that contains system tools and utilities to fix, speed up and maintain PCs. The disk cleaner removes junk data from the disks and recovers disk space. The startup manager manages programs which run automatically on startup. Tracks Eraser erases all the traces, evidences, cookies, Internet history and more.
Overview
It adds registry entry for the current user which will allow the program to automatically start each time it is rebooted. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The setup package generally installs about 82 files and is usually about 29.68 MB (31,119,472 bytes). The installed file CheckUpdate.dll is the auto-update component of the program which is designed to check for software updates and notify and apply them when new versions are discovered.

Glary Utilities has been seen bundling various 3rd party software during the installation process. Make sure to check for and remove unused programs.
