What is Homepage Protection?

The AOL Homepage Protection program is designed to prevent other programs form modifying your web browsers's home page and keeps it set to AOLs specified page. If it sees another prorgam attempting to change the home page it will promt the user with a popup dialog and ask them if they want to 'protect' the page from being modified.
