What is FreeCall?

FreeCall is a branded VOIP software program from Finarea that provides voice over IP communications. Finarea's software and service provides discount phone service providers free VOIP calls.

FREE CALLS to regular phones over the internet. Just install the free FreeCall application, plug a headset in your PC and start calling instantly. Max 300 minutes per week of free calls, measured over the last 7 days and per unique IP address.

Overview

The most used version is 4.13 build 735, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The software installer includes 6 files and is usually about 34.36 MB (36,025,608 bytes).
