America Online (AOL) Download Updater program is a software update utility that is installed on a PC during the any of the AOL's appllications including the AOL Toolbar, AOL Price Check and other AOL programs. AOL does not provide an option to skip the installation of Download Updater (AOL Inc.), so all AOL users are likely to find this program installed and running on a PC. The purpose of the Download Updater is to ensure that you always have the latest version of AOL's Internet software installed. The program periodically accesses the Internet to check AOL's download servers for software updates. If it finds an update, it automatically downloads and installs it.

There are three separate components to AOL Toolbar: AOL Toolbar, Download Updater, and Price Check by AOL. All three components need to be removed to complete the uninstallation of AOL Toolbar from your browser.

How do I remove Download Updater AOL Inc.?
