What is Adobe Premiere Pro?
Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing software application. It is part of the Adobe Creative Suite, a suite of graphic design, video editing and web development. Premiere Pro supports high resolution video editing at up to 10,240 × 8,192 resolution, at up to 32-bits per channel color, in both RGB and YUV. In addition to the effects and transitions included with Premiere Pro, third party plug-ins may enhance the software's capability. CS5 includes the Mercury Playback Engine, which supports GPU-accelerated rendering using qualified nVidia CUDA graphics cards.
