Adobe Flash Player 20 NPAPI
Overview
Adobe Flash Player 20 NPAPI is a program developed by Adobe Systems. The most used version is 20.0.0.306, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The main program executable is flashutil32_20_0_0_231_plugin.exe. The software installer includes 208 files and is usually about 42.66 MB (44,736,718 bytes). The Adobe Flash Player Update Service (FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe) included with the Flash Player is set to run once per day if Flash Player has been configured during installation to install updates automatically when available. How do I remove Adobe Flash Player 20 NPAPI?
You can uninstall Adobe Flash Player 20 NPAPI from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
