Do not download fbdownloader as it is a redirect virus. I inadvertently installed it when downloading some software and did not give permission because it was hidden in the download. When uninstalled it left entries in the registry which when deleting them simply return on reboot. FBdownloader is a redirect virus and sets fbdownloader as default search engine and homepage on Chrome and IE. Antivirus and Malware do not detect it. I tried to remove related registry entries but could not find them all. Add/remove programs does not remove it. I then used Revo uninstaller but that failed as well. Malwarebytes did not identify it. Eventually I contacted YooCare and paid $83 to have it removed - even their technician took 2 hours to remove it and get Chrome and IE working properly again and I am grateful for their expertise. I emailed HTTO Group Ltd to ask them for uninstall instructions but got no answer, but they must be aware of what their product is doing to people's PCs anyway and can only be construed as deliberate. HTTO Group Ltd should foot the bill for fixing my laptop which they infected with their redirect virus. Do not download this product because you will need an expert to remove it. Look at other forums to see the damage it causes and the difficulty involved in its removal.
