World of Warplanes
What is World of Warplanes?
World of Warplanes is an online real time game in the genre arcade flight simulator in the historical setting of World War II. The game is developed on the same engine as the World of Tanks, BigWorld, but, according to developers, it will be specially adapted for aircraft. Fights occur in the air. Two teams battle in matches lasting up to 15 minutes. The battles will end when one team's players are eliminated or all of the ground targets at the enemy base are destroyed.
Overview
A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named WorldOfWarplanes.exe. The setup package generally installs about 30 files and is usually about 36.26 MB (38,025,156 bytes).
