Overview

WeatherBug Alert is a software program developed by AWS Convergence Technologies. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The programs's main executable is weatherbugalert.exe and has been seen to consume an average CPU of less than one percent, and utilizes about 3 MB of memory. It also includes a system tray icon that is displayed in the notifications area while the program is running. Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows Vista (SP2). While about 35% of users of WeatherBug Alert come from the United States, it is also popular in United Kingdom and Germany.
