What is WeatherBug?

WeatherBug provides live weather data and maintains a mesoscale network of weather stations and runs in the notification tray and background of Windows. At present, the desktop application of WeatherBug is designated for U.S. ZIP codes only. Non-U.S. users can also receive RSS global weather feeds via email or through their RSS reader instead of using the WeatherBug app.

Many versions of the program have been seen bundling the Ask.com Toolbar. "This download offers the Ask toolbar as an optional install. You will have to the opportunity to decline the offer during the installation process."

The software is also sometimes bundled with third-party download managers.
