What is Toshiba Registration?
This is pre-installed on various Toshiba laptop models and provides regsitration features to be activated for a new PC.
Overview
Toshiba Registration is a program developed by Datalode. It is bundled and preinstalled with various Toshiba computers. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The main program executable is Registration.exe. The software installer includes 11 files and is usually about 2.06 MB (2,165,200 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows Vista (SP2) as well as Windows 7 (SP1). While about 91% of users of Toshiba Registration come from the United States, it is also popular in Canada and Mexico.
