SweetIM Toolbar for Internet Explorer is a browser add-on which adds various shortcuts such as games,deal pages etc. to your browsers for easy access. This toolbar also changes your homepage to home.sweetim.com While some people may find SweetIM toolbar useful, this browser add-on can be categorized as an unwanted application. The homepage that is set to default by this toolbar is enhanced by deceptive ads which redirects PC users to survey pages. The toolbar is typically bundled with the free Sweet Intant Messenger program as an option during installation and does not necessarily get uninstalled when Intant Messenger is removed from the user's PC and must be removed manually. If the home page and search settings were modified by this toolbar, they need to be manually reverted back by the user.

1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:

• Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
• Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove SweetIM Toolbar for Internet Explorer.
4. If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.
