Overview

Surf Canyon 5.1 is a program developed by Surf Canyon. During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up (this is typically done to avoid any UAC prompts). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is TBUpdater.dll. Typically most users end up uninstalling this just after a few days. The software installer includes 14 files and is usually about 6.24 MB (6,541,274 bytes). TBUpdater.dll is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released.
