What is SnapMyScreen?
SnapMyScreen is an ad-supported toolbar/addon for Chrome that may deliver third-party Advertisements in the form of coupons, price-comparisons, display media, affiliate links and other links through means including but not limited to the content of any web page accessed, plug-ins, add-ons, or the browser itself. Advertisements may be injected to overlay the page or inserted directly into the page content. This adware may alter the content of any web page accessed for the purpose of displaying Advertisements.
From the EULA: We automatically collect information from your computer and/or device when you use the MS Services or use its search functionality. This information may include, but not limited to, the keyword query, search query text, time of day, browser type, default language setting, IP address, an anonymous unique ID, the address of the last URL you visited before clicking through to the website, the data in any undeleted cookies that your browser previous accepted from us, software installed upon and/or devices connected to your computer and/or device, and a code which identifies the marketing or distribution source of the MS Product used by you to conduct your search. If the search query is being generated as the result of a misspelled URL or search term entered in to the browser address bar, we may also receive the misspelled URL address or search term."
