What is Rolimno?

Rolimno is an adware web browser extension designed to take control of the user's browser in order to redirect web searches and inject advertising. In Internet Explorer the program run as a Browser Helper Object. The add-in performs a number of behaviors that will hijack advertising on non-associated web sites as well as inject its own advertising in the form of contextual link ads, banner ads, pop ups and pop-overs including the hijacking of known ad serving sites.

Functionality of the toolbar includes:
- Injecting search and display advertising.
- Changing the web browser's default home page.
- Changing the browser's search provider, built-in search box as well as the address bar.
- Adds an alternative error page, DNS error and 'page not' found functionality.
- Adds additional functionality that is designed to protect the search and home page settings.

How do I remove Rolimno?
