Red AdBlocker
What is Red AdBlocker?
Red AdBlocker is an adware/advertising supported web browser plugin that is typically bundled by a 3rd-party download manager which includes potentially unwanted software offers in order to monetize installs. Once running, this adware is designed to deliver advertisements to the browser in a number of formats including banners, text hyper-links, inline text ads and/or transitionals. These ads are not affiliated with nor endorsed by the underlying website on which they appear and are just injected by the plugin and will appear in the header or footer of the web page or replace any legitimate ads the website already has implemented. The software also communicates with a remote server in order to report the browsing habits of the user as well as URLs and domains the browser visits so that it can update its advertisements.
