What is OptimizerPro?

OptimizerPro by Premuim, an umwanted and potentially harmful application is installed as a web browser plugin within Internet Explorer and Firefox. OptimizedPro uses the open source wxDownload Fast (also known as wxDFast) program to download and install additional bundled applications.

Overview

During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up (this is typically done to avoid any UAC prompts). A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The primary executable is named OptimizerPro.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package is about 4.57 MB (4,790,526 bytes) when donwloaded.

How do I remove OptimizerPro?

You can uninstall OptimizerPro from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
