What is Panda Security URL Filtering?

The Panda Security Toolbar is a free optional toolbar that comes with Panda Cloud. The toolbar provides web filtering along with some features that may come in handy for users. The toolbar works on Internet Explorer and Firefox only. The URL/Web filtering component is compatible with all major web-browsers though. If you do not like toolbars open add and remove programs and uninstall the program Panda Security toolbar. Overview

During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. Upon being installed, the software adds a Windows Service which is designed to run continuously in the background. Manually stopping the service has been seen to cause the program to stop functing properly. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named Panda_URL_Filtering.exe.
