Remove OptimizerPro by SummerSoft

This is a re-brand of the OptimizerPro software distributed by various other companies, a program that is distributed with adware bundles from 3rd-party download managers such as InstalleRex. Once installed the software will run a scan and alert the user to potentially thousands of issues, most trivial and will require payment to 'fix' such problems.

The most common release is 4.3.0.1727, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up (this is typically done to avoid any UAC prompts). The primary executable is named OptimizerPro.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 1 files and is usually about 532.38 KB (545,155 bytes).

2. When you find the program OptimizerPro, click it, and then do one of the following:
• Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
• Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove OptimizerPro.
4. If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.
