MSI Afterburner 2.3.1

What is MSI Afterburner?

MSI Afterburner is a graphics card utility that promises to help you monitor your GPU and bring it to its maximum performance. The main goal of the application is to overcome the original limits set by the vendors, allowing you to adjust memory clocks, voltages and fan speed. However, it is advisable to modify these settings only if you are sure of what you are doing. Otherwise, your actions might cause instability issues.

Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software installer includes 43 files and is usually about 1.62 MB (1,697,910 bytes).
