IBM Lotus Symphony
What is IBM Lotus Symphony?
IBM Lotus Symphony was a suite of applications for creating, editing, and sharing text, spreadsheet, presentations and other documents, browsing the world wide web, and is currently distributed as freeware. IBM Lotus Symphony was discontinued in January 2012 with the final release of version 3.0.1. The source code was sponsored to the Apache Software Foundation to get merged to OpenOffice.org.
Overview
The most common release is 3.01.12011, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named symphony.exe. The setup package generally installs about 156 files and is usually about 873.2 KB (894,156 bytes).

How do I remove IBM Lotus Symphony?
You can uninstall IBM Lotus Symphony from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
