What is Amazon?
Amazon is an app for the Pokki desktop platform. The app itself runs as an embedded HTML5 program within the Pokki software outside of the web browser.

The Amazon App for Pokki lets you browse and “Shop by Department”, quickly search, compare prices, read reviews, share products with friends, access Gold Box Deals, and make purchases. Customers can sign up to receive a daily notification for Lightning Deals and also stay up to date on status of their orders.

A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). HostAppServiceUpdater.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released.
