What is ASUS InstantOn?
Instant On adds a toggle button to Windows which replaces the "Shut down" button with "Sleep" in the Start menu in order to provide instant-on capabilities to ASUS notebooks. ASUS introduced this instant on capability branded "Express Gate" on select motherboards, using DeviceVM's Splashtop software and dedicated flash memory.

How do I remove ASUS InstantOn?
You can uninstall ASUS InstantOn from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
