ASUS Instant Connect is included with the ASUS Utilities that are typically pre-installed with various laptops. The utility provides various mechanisms to help users connect to the network over a multitude of facilities including Ethernet (broadband), wireless and direct cable connection to a mobile device. However, it is generally designed for instant network/Internet connection via tethering an Android mobile device to a USB cable connected to the laptop. How do I remove ASUS Instant Connect?
You can uninstall ASUS Instant Connect from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program ASUS Instant Connect, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
