What is xVidly?

Bundles the xVidly Toolbar, an ad-supported (users may see additional banner, search, pop-up, pop-under, interstitial and in-text link advertisements) cross web browser plugin for Internet Explorer (BHO) and Firefox/Chrome (plugin) and distributed through various monitization platforms during installation. The browser extension includes various features that will modify the default or custom settings of the browser including the home page, search settings and in some cases will modify Internet Explorer's load time threshold, place a lock file within firefox to prevent competing software from changing its settings as well as disable the browser's Content Security Policy in order to allow for cross site scripting of the plugin.

I concur with the comments about xvidly being a nuisance. I haven't been unable to delete it either.

Same here i do as they say to uninstall it and doesn't work. I dont even know how it got on my desk top computer at home why make it so complicated to uninstall really you guys need to fix this problem.

i dont even know how i got xvidly onto my laptop and there are alot of other things on here that i know i didnt pout here willingly,how do i delete,uninstall them? please reply back,i really am pissed that this crap is even on my laptop right now and i cant seem to find it to remove it,you know,like i would any other normal app,i can remove,but nooo not this one,i cant even find it,you guys do this on purpose so as not to let anyone uninstall,you guys suck,really you do,just saying ;)
