ZoneAlarm Toolbar
What is ZoneAlarm Toolbar?
The ZoneAlarm Security Toolbar installs a OurToolbar toolbar in your Web browser that collects and stores information about your web browsing and sends this information to OurToolbar so they can suggest services or provide ads via the toolbar. It also may automatically download and install updates without notifying the user. This is a PPI (pay per install) toolbar. For each install and for every month the user whose web browser this is installed into remains installed, the publisher gets paid by Conduit a few cents depending on the country of install. The toolbar is typically bundled with the free Zone Alarm software as an option during installation and does not necessarily get uninstalled when Zone Alarm is removed from the user's PC and must be removed manually. Additionally, if the home page and search settings were modified by this toolbar, they need to be manually reverted back by the user.
