Overview
Xshell 4 is a program developed by NetSarang Computer. The most used version is 4.0.0125, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The software installer includes 42 files and is usually about 8.43 MB (8,840,402 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 33% of users of Xshell 4 come from the United States, it is also popular in Taiwan and China.
