What is WindApp?
WindApp is an ad-supported program that may deliver third-party advertisements in the form of coupons, price-comparisons, display media, affiliate links, banners, popups/popunders and other links through means including but not limited to the content of any web page accessed, plug-ins, add-ons, or the browser itself. Advertisements may be injected to overlay the page or inserted directly into the page content. This adware may alter the content of any web page accessed for the purpose of displaying ads.
Overview
A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The main program executable is WindApp Update.exe. A vast majority of those who have this installed end up removing it just after a couple weeks. The software installer includes 3 files and is usually about 1.14 MB (1,190,941 bytes). WindApp Update.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released.

How do I remove WindApp?
You can uninstall WindApp from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
