I have used WOT for over 2 years and find the program very useful and reliable...it's the (many times) over zealous raters that I don't trust. Always check the comments / reasons for ratings, some of them are way too ... ?

I recommend Web of Trust (WOT) to all my friends. It saves me a lot of trouble by giving me reputations of websites before I click on the links, and helps me avoid questionable or malicious websites. I prefer it over some of the other browser add-ons like AVG and Nortons website reputation services because WOT seems to have ratings on more sites.
