VideoPlayer v2.0.6

What is VideoPlayer?

VideoPlayer uses the Tuguu download Manager. Tuguu DM is an installer which bundles applications with offers for additional third party programs that may be unwanted by the user incuding toolbars and browser extensions. Such third party programs are typically installed onto users’ computers by default, but may include an option to ‘opt-out’ during or after the installation process.

A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The primary executable is named vafplayer.exe. Many users end up uninstalling this after less than a month of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 12 files and is usually about 8.64 MB (9,056,103 bytes).
  • Delivers various 'optional' bundled software during install
  • The wisdom of the experts agree, if you don't use it you should remove it!
VideoPlayer has been seen bundling various 3rd party software during the installation process. Make sure to check for and remove unused programs.
