VeriFace III
What is VeriFace III?
VeriFace is a face-recognition software package that is a registered trademark of Lenovo and was the first Face Verification Technology on public computer. In lieu of passwords, VeriFace identifies users by matching unique features of individual faces to photographs taken by the 1.3-megapixel webcam. VeriFace is included on all new IdeaPad notebooks and netbook, and currently only works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It does not work on previous versions of Microsoft Windows.
Overview
A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The setup package generally installs about 33 files and is usually about 35.31 MB (37,029,159 bytes).

How do I remove VeriFace III?
You can uninstall VeriFace III from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program VeriFace III, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove VeriFace III.
