Overview

VIPRE Registry Cleaner is a program developed by GFI Software. During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The main program executable is regpowerclean.exe. The software installer includes 7 files and is usually about 15.2 MB (15,942,527 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. The distribution of this has mostly been seen in the United States.
