UltraEdit-32
Overview
UltraEdit-32 is a program developed by IDM Computer Solutions. The most used version is 10.20c, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The software installer includes 35 files and is usually about 5.96 MB (6,245,683 bytes). update.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released. In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 27% of users of UltraEdit-32 come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and Italy.
